The DNA Network

Exciting news! Rick at My Biotech Life and I got to talking yesterday and we thought it would be fun to gather together everyone who writes about genetics, genes, and DNA into a network. A genetics club of sorts, if you’d like. (I know! Very nerdy.) Within hours of hatching the idea, Rick came up with a logo and created The DNA Network.*
The DNA Network is a Feedburner Network that is an aggregation of the latest headlines from blogs documenting the genome revolution. We’re in the process of recruiting people who are interested in raising their profile and readership. You don’t need to have a current Feedburner feed to join although you will need to create one if you don’t already have one. To apply to join The DNA Network, please email Rick at rvidal -at- gmail -dot- com. And even if you’re not a member of The DNA Network, please join The DNA Network Facebook group. It’s open to everyone!
The DNA Network is the only collection of blogs anywhere about genetics, genomics, and DNA. As of April 14, 2008, there are 52 members who work as scientists, journalists, students, doctors, and other genetics professionals and know genetics better than anyone.
The DNA Network is not a money-making venture. We exist to make it easier for readers to learn more about current opinions on genetics, genomics, and health from a group of qualified experts. We also serve to promote member blogs so they receive the recognition they deserve.
Also check out our Google Custom Search Engine for The DNA Network.
NB: Brad Feld at has more information on the benefits of joining a Feedburner Network, such as The DNA Network.
*Isn’t Rick talented? His design talents are for hire too.
