Eye on DNA Editorial Policy
by Dr. Hsien-Hsien Lei
Posted May 17, 2007 in DNA in General
In response to an issue that cropped up this morning, I’ve added the following to my About page:
Eye on DNA welcomes letters from readers. All letters become the property of Eye on DNA, which reserves the right to edit them. Please note that any email I receive may be discussed on Eye on DNA. If you would like to remain anonymous or would prefer the email to remain off the record, please say so explicitly.
This policy is in line with any major publication. I am reporting, analyzing, and commenting on the genome revolution and will treat all sources as quotable unless I’m told otherwise.
Thank you to everyone for all your emails. I link and give attribution because I want to thank you for taking the time to write them. If you don’t need to be acknowledged publicly, just let me know. It’s not as if I’ve been receiving State secrets or anything although I’ll listen if you want to tell me any.
