I searched for "it's in my DNA" across all my various websites, just on the off chance that I'd actually used the phrase. I haven't. Didn't think I had. So, then I searched across British academia using the "site:co.uk" keyword in Google. Nothing. Nada. Nowt. With "site:edu"? Just one entry, a googlewhackblatt in other words:

"I'm not a Muhammad Ali or a Dr. King," [Bruce] Gordon said [in an interview here], with the blend of conviction and modesty that seems to be a hallmark of his speech. "But in terms of what they tried to do, it's in my DNA. It's embedded."
