HG Stern at InsureBlog educates us about genes and insurance underwriting. He thinks there’s nothing to get up in arms about. I admit to being rather ignorant about the whole world of “insurance issues, principles, and solutions” so I’m glad we have the folks at InsureBlog to turn to.- Grand Rounds 3.38 is up at Dr. Val & The Voice of Reason, one of my new favorite medical blogs. Speaking of medical bloggers, don’t miss Margarita Bauza’s latest Detroit Free Press article on the ethics of doctors blogging. See anyone you know?
- Keith at Omics! Omics! ponders whether baseball player Josh Beckett has defective connective tissue genes.
- Jay at The Quickie Book Review reviews The Double Helix by James Watson and finds it lacking.
- p-ter at Gene Expression examines genome-wide association for heart disease.

I’m touched that I get to be a favorite! I’ll do my best not to disappoint…
Hi Val! Somehow I’m guessing you’re not the kind of person who disappoints others too often.
I love your down to earth, conversational style!
