The Los Angeles Film Festival is catching on to the DNA wave. Peggy writes to tell us that the Official Film Guide to the LA Film Festival is in this Sunday’s LA Times and the cover features a strand of DNA with the title – It’s in our DNA. What’s in their DNA? Gratuitous violence, sex, swearing, idiocy,…? Does anyone know??
In other DNA…
Goddess Persephone at Conscious AWAKEN!:
I am a Capricorn, take-charge attitude, the fear of rejection, insecurities and overwhelming longing to love and be loved wholly and completely are all characteristics of a Capricorn. I guess you can say that these traits are actually embedded in my DNA, so I can’t really change these things about me, but instead change my response, my reaction to my feelings.
Mallyeren in Panoptic Eats:
Although I’ll eat a piece of dark chocolate or, as was the case last night, occasionally let myself have dessert (there is something written in my DNA that prevents me from passing up cheesecake), I’m not overdoing it.
May something good be in your DNA this week!

I already mentioned to Peggy a feature article I wrote quite some time ago for the Adapt or Die column on the now defunct HMSBeagle. I’ve repro’d the article on science in the movies on my site.

I am glad my words were able to help you get your point across.

Hi Schelitia, No real point here except a curiosity to see how people are using the term “DNA” in our culture. Thanks for stopping by!
