• Matt at Londonist visited the Wellcome Collection of medicine and science, which features a robot from the Human Genome Project and a complete transcript of the genome.
• Professor James Watson promoted the use of DNA sequencing at the opening of the Wellcome Collection.
• The Tucson Citizen opposes the creation of a DNA database in Arizona to store DNA data on criminals. They’re worried about privacy, insurance coverage, and civil rights violations.

For some reason those &%^$&ers at the Wellcome didn’t send me a press invite to the launch…I was sure I was on their list, maybe they thought I’d be too scathing of the layout or something. I wouldn’t have been…honest.
