Make DNA Using ZOOB

Make DNA Using ZOOB

Inspired by DNA, construction set ZOOB stands for Zoology, Ontology, Ontogeny, and Botany.

Where Does ZOOB Come From?

ZOOB’s shape is inspired by the nucleotides (the basic structural units of nucleic acids) that make up DNA. Based on the way things connect, move and transform in nature, ZOOB captures dynamic movement, unlike traditional “stacking” or “hub & spoke” construction sets.

We have the ZOOB 500-piece set and I finally got around to putting a DNA helix together. It was a lot easier than I expected but it also doesn’t look quite as nice as the one featured on the ZOOB site. But nothing ever looks as good as the manufacturer’s pictures, do they?

How old is he? I think they start to love construction toys like this around age 4-5. :)
