Found these two genetics books last week at my favorite bargain bookshop – Bookcase London.

DNA and Genetics by Anna Kessling

After Dolly: The Uses and Misuses of Human Cloning by Ian Wilmut and Roger Highfield. Here’s a review of the book in the Telegraph when it was released last year.

I’ve also added the soon-to-be-released James Watson memoir, Avoid Boring People, to my genetics books wish list. Anonymous Coward at Bayblab discusses the book and cleverly ties it all in with doing a PhD and how it “sucks the dreams out of you.” /me nods (You can read an excerpt of Dr. Watson’s memoir at 02138.) And for what it’s worth, this time James Watson has beaten Craig Venter to the punch; Dr. Venter’s memoir, A Life Decoded, won’t be released until October 18.

What books about DNA and genetics have you added to your library recently?
