After I discovered some interesting comments last week on a picture of the new 23andMe headquarters, I went trolling for more and found some comments on DNA Direct (where I currently work as a genetic information specialist).

In July 2006, Eddie Codel posted this picture of the DNA Direct awning on San Francisco’s Pier 9 with the title – “Context of what?.”

Flickr user willowbee said:

good housekeeping gave them the “best DNA test” award. and they blog. this is clearly a GTD system [Gettng Things Done] for your DNA.

Veronica Belmont:

i wanted to do that! i’m such a mutt, maybe they could tell me where i came from…

Ted Rheingold:

Do my genes look fat in this context?

Sorry, Ted, the answer is “yes.” ;)
