The Halloween edition of Mendel’s Garden is now available at Discovering Biology in a Digital World!
This Sunday, 21 October, I’ll be hosting the Gene Genie blog carnival. Please submit your DNA-related post via this form by Saturday at the latest. Thank you!
- Eye on DNA has partnered with Scitizen and is now featured in the biotechnology channel along with DNA Network member The Tree of Life by Dr. Jonathan Eisen. Dr. T. Ryan Gregory of Genomicron is also a regular contributor. Once a month, Scitizen will include a post from Eye on DNA. Previously, my post about genetically modified crops with mini-chromosomes was also included at Scitizen.
- Please welcome the 31st member of The DNA Network – Adaptive Complexity by Dr. Michael White!
- A thank you goes out to intellectual blogger Dan of Migrations. He had some very kind words about Eye on DNA.
- Dr. Misha Angrist at Genome Boy has pulled out the juciest bits from a Portfolio piece about 23andMe and other personal genomics companies, such as DNA Direct (yes, I work for them!).
